Perfect Dupe | Mac Sunny Seoul

Hello everyone, so for Christmas I got the lipstick Mac Sunny Seoul, I asked for this shade because I wanted something fresh and something that could be worn both winter and summer. As I was sorting through my lipsticks I noticed that this lipstick was almost the exact same as a Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick I already owned. Which obviously got me thinking about a blog post, so this is the cheap alternative to Mac Sunny Seoul. The Rimmel Kate Moss is in number 16, and is £5.49 opposed to Mac Sunny Seoul at £15.50. The finishes are different, the Mac one being a cremesheen and the Rimmel one not. Personally I think that the Rimmel lipstick is just as good quality as the Mac one. If you're looking for a corally pink shade lipstick at a lower price I'd recommend the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick. Its just the perfect dupe!

Have you got a favourite dupe lipstick?

Lush Christmas Roundup

Hello everyone, as you can probably tell, Christmas is officially over (so sad). However, Lush just keep on giving since I got MANY Christmas bath bombs for Christmas! So I decided I'd do a quick round up of my favourite Lush bath bombs this Christmas, I hope you enjoy and know what to put on your list for next Christmas.

The favourites I have picked out this year, have to be Snow White bath bomb, which is plain white with a bright pink middle; making your bath all lovely and pink! Who doesn't want that? The smell is gorgeous, I'm sure many of you will be familiar with it. Then to add to the bath bomb, swish around the snow fairy wand to give it plenty of bubbles. the smell is similar to snow white which makes your bath even more sweet! My other favourites this year have to be the luxury lush pud, which is bursting with colours, also the dashing santa bath bomb, which is a different sort of Christmas smell but I like it a lot; definitely going to purchase more of them next year. I hope that if you received lush products for Christmas this maybe gave you the idea to mix a few up or maybe you know exactly what you're going to buy next Christmas!

Whats your favourite Lush bath bomb?

Christmas Reds

Hello everyone, its getting so close to Christmas and I'm trying to make the absolute most out of it with the Christmas posts, haha. I haven't done a beauty related post for a while, so today I'm going to share with you two of my favourite Christmas red lip products! Enjoy.

Mac Russian Red, I'm confident every single person in the world has heard of Mac Russian Red. I have featured it on my blog before, in my favourites. But now its the perfect time to really talk about this beauty. I will definitely be wearing this on Christmas day, its a darker red colour, opposed to a brighter one which I really like about this, darker reds are my favourite. Its also matte, which is perfect for Christmas day especially, eating, talking, drinking etc; its going to be staying on your lips all day long. If you don't already own this lipstick, I think you may be missing out a bit!

Tanya Burr Vampire Kiss, as everybody knows Tanya Burr has her own range of lipglosses, and this was the first one I purchased from the range. I love this colour so much, its a gorgeous red, a bit brighter than Macs Russian Red, but I don't think I'd want any darker in a lip gloss. Everyone has probably heard/read a lot about these lipglosses, and know that they have such a good formulation and really do stay on your lips for a long time; unlike some lipglosses. This is a lovely Christmassy red anyway, one that could be worn to a Christmas party, or even on Christmas day. I must add that the smell of these lipglosses are out of this world, and its tempting to lick it off your lips, haha.

Whats your favourite Christmassy red lip product?

Warm Winter Eye Shadow | Color Tattoo

Hello everyone, another winter themed post, making the most of it whilst I can, haha. However, I am sure many of you have heard of the Maybelline Color Eye Tattoos. Okay, EVERYONE has heard of them; but I think this one should get some more recognition this winter!

This is in the shade 'Metallic Pomegranate'. Its a deep purply colour, with a gold shimmer throughout. Its also a cream eye shadow, which I'm sure you know, all of the color eye tattoos are. This colour, to me, seems perfect for a dark smoky eye for winter time. I find this to be a good base to build up on if you're going for the smoky eye look, its also surprisingly easy to blend out which is a plus. This beautiful colour would match perfectly if you wanted to go for a berry lip, maybe a purple or a dark red this would definitely suit that look! This stays on for such a long time as well, hence the 24 hour part, haha. I would totally recommend this for the winter time, its such a warm and festive colour.

Whats your favourite winter time eye shadow? I hope you enjoyed this post, and thanks for reading.

Christmas Playlist

Hello everyone, how has your weekend been? Anyway, running with the Christmas theme here we have my Christmas playlist! This is a mixture of Christmas songs, and just normal songs, so I hope you enjoy.

Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) by Michael Buble - My absolute favourite Christmas song, Michael Buble's album is the best Christmas album out there.

Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran - Not a Christmas song, but such a calming lovely song for the Christmas time.

Merry Xmas Everybody by Noddy Holder, James Lea and Slade - Classic Christmas song, everybody loves this, one of my personal favourites.

Real Love by Tom Odell - From the John Lewis advert, this song is the sweetest and Tom Odell sings it so well.

Let It Go by Idina Menzel - From Frozen, of course everybody knows this one. Its so popular but such a catchy song for Christmas and I know everybody can't resist it!

Budapest by George Ezra - Again, not a Christmas song but such a calm song. I love more calming songs in the winter its just more relaxing to wind down for Christmas.

Santa Tell Me by Ariana Grande - I've actually been loving Ariana Grande's new album, and this is such a lovely new Christmas song that I think everybody should go and listen too.

Cool Kids by Echosmith - This song has only recently been realised I believe, but its so catchy and you just get good vibes from it.

So Far (It's Alright) by The 1975 - What would a playlist be without The 1975, my favourite band ever. I can never get bored of this song, and I think it fits well into a Christmas playlist.

Jingle Bells by Michael Buble ft The Puppini Sisters - A bit more Buble never hurts, this one is so catchy and he just sings it beautifully.

All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey - Another classic song for Christmas, who doesn't love this song basically?!

Wrapped Up by Olly Murs - Such a happy song for the Christmas time, everyone loves a good Olly Murs song.

Left Hand Free by Alt-J - I just really like this song and Alt-J are something a bit different!

Good Thing by Sam Smith - This is from his new album, which I love, and this has to be one of my favourite songs on there.

Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms - This has to remind you of Mean Girls right, such a good Christmas song and probably one of my favourites.

So, whats your favourite Christmas song? Thanks for reading guys, I hope you enjoyed and maybe discovered a few new songs too.

No7 Lash Impact Review

Hello everyone, I'm kind of relating this to a Christmas themed post purely because of the packaging for this product. Its the No7 Lash Impact mascara. Wow, this is going to be a good review let me tell you now! Enjoy.

I really needed a new mascara, as I'd run out of the Miss Manga but wasn't really fancying buying it again. I'd seen this mascara being advertised throughout Boots for a very long time, plus my friend had it and said how amazing it was. So I decided to give it a go. I have to say, I wasn't expecting too much from it, don't ask me why. But wow, I have not been disappointed one BIT. For £13.50, this is one of the best mascaras I've ever used. It really does give volume to your lashes like no other mascara I have used in the past. It separates your lashes perfectly also.

The applicator isn't a plastic one, which I think really helps. It does exactly what it says on the tube, give intense volume. It doesn't come off for anything, there has been times where I have worn this whilst crying and it hasn't sort of dribbled down my face then, or when you accidently forget to take it off before you shower, it doesn't go all over your face. So getting it off, as you can imagine, is a bit of trouble but I think its worth having a mascara that stays on all day long then having to try and scrub off at night. It really does give your lashes that curled, volume effect. I adore this mascara, who knew you could love a mascara so much? I'd recommend this mascara to anyone and everyone, it's totally perfect with very minimal flaws. Whats your favourite mascara? Thanks for reading everyone, hope you're having a good week!

Feeling Festive | Primark Christmas Jumpers

Hello everyone, its only 17 days until Christmas and today I got my Christmas jumper, oh yeah! The reason I am writing specifically about this, is because Primark are giving £2 to 'Make A Wish' when you buy one of their Christmas jumpers. I believe this is going on from 6th-12th December. There are so many to choose from, and they are actually quite tasteful for Christmas jumpers. As you can see I got the penguin one! Its SO cosy, soft and warm. The penguin is so cute.

If you don't know what Make A Wish foundation is, its a charity that 'grant wishes' for children with life threatening illnesses. I think its great that £2 goes towards this charity, its a great cause. The jumpers aren't that pricey either, so I'd go and buy yourself one quick before they're all gone!

Have you got your Christmas jumper yet? Thanks for reading buys, expect many more festive posts on the build up too Christmas!

Christmas Gift Guide | Beauty Edition

Hello everyone, I've watched a lot of Christmas gift guides lately and as its coming up to Christmas I decided I wanted to make one. I'm currently listening to Christmas songs as I write this to get me in the spirit, haha. I'd like to mention the top row are the more pricey gifts, and the bottom row the less expensive ones. So lets get on with it!

Benefit Pretty Parfait (£29) - I think this gift would be perfect for someone who is quite serious about their make up and maybe doesn't own much Benefit products. Its got quite a good little mix of some of their best products.

Real Techniques Nics Picks (£24.99-£30) - Again this would be the perfect gift for someone whos really into their make up. If you know someone who uses real techniques brushes, you can guarantee they'll love this little set! Its such good value too.

Nars Modern Future Roman Holiday, Lip, Cheek & Nail Set (£30) - This is a limited edition set, so you can bet whoever you're buying for won't have this bad boy! Usually Nars products are pricey, so this is super good, and who doesn't love a good Nars blush?

One Direction You and I Gift Set (£29) - This would be great for any younger One Direction fans out there, I don't think you could go wrong with this, especially for a big One Direction fan!

Ted Baker London Beau Box Bathroom Set Mini Hat Box (£10) - I love the smell of nearly every range of Ted Baker products, so this one can't fail. It looks super fancy, with some really good little goodies inside.

Soap and Glory Your Own Sweet Lime (£10) - Everyone loves a bit of Soap & Glory, even though the Sugar Crush range isn't very Christmasy smell, its still an absolute favourite. Anyone you know who loves their bath and body stuff, this ones for them!

Lord and Berry Lip Library Gift Set (£20) - I'd personally love to receive this gift, so for anybody you know who loves their lip products, this ones for them! There are two sets, so you pick the colours!

Clinique Party Lips and Nails Gift Set (£18) - Finally, the Clinique gift set! This would be great for maybe Mums or even younger girls, its a fun set with some fun colours!

Thanks for reading, I hope this gave you some ideas for gifts! Enjoy the rest of your weekend guys.

Boots Botanics

Hello everyone, how has your week been? Mines been pretty busy. Anyway, running with the theme of skin care in the last few posts, I purchased these the other day, and I thought I'd share my thoughts on them with you guys!

Boots have a range called 'Botanics', which haven't been there for THAT long. I decided that as my skin hasn't been great, I'd try out some of the stuff from this range. Firstly I picked up the make up remover cream. I've never had a 'cream' formula make up remover, in the past I'd either used make up wipes or micellar water, so this was new to me. It does smell so good, I'll give it that but there is something about it I'm not too sure about. It kind of feels quite greasy on the skin, however once its all removed it does leave your skin feeling soft. I'm just unsure on the kind of greasy texture, but I think I'll have to keep giving it a try. For the price I can't complain at only £1.99.

Secondly I found the 'Mattifying Gel-Cream'. I was searching for a new moisturizer type product, and this caught my eye. Again it was cheap like the make up remover, but I was more impressed with this. I had really bad dry skin around my nose area, and its really cleared that up over this week. It isn't like your typical moisturiser but still works amazingly well, I'd really recommend this. It smells lovely too, and leaves your skin feeling so soft.

Whats your favourite skincare range? Thanks for reading guys, I hope you enjoyed and maybe will go and have a look at these products!

Q&A, Giveaway & More?

Hello everyone, how has your week been so far? Today I kind of have something exciting to share, I would really like to do a Q&A and a giveaway for Christmas! Currently I am trying to build up my blog for more people to see and read and I'd love for people to get to know me a bit better. So if you have any questions for me, PLEASE leave them in the comments, whether its on this post or another one of my posts; once I have enough I will do a Q&A!

Secondly, I really like the idea of doing a giveaway for the christmas time. I see giveaways going on a lot in the beauty blogger world and I'd love to be able to do one myself. This is not a definite yet though. I would LOVE to be able to reach 75-100 followers on my bloglovin' page before doing so. Yes, this may be optimistic but I'd love to give it a try. If you read my blog and maybe you don't follow my bloglovin, you could do so and I will 100% follow you back as I love finding new blogs. I don't want to sound like I'm begging, but I thought it'd be a great way to get people interested and maybe readers will get something out of it if I do a giveaway. On the side of my blog it shows a counter of how many followers I have on bloglovin' which is currently 22. There is also a follow me on bloglovin' button on the side, which you can always click. Comment below what sort of things you'd like to see in a giveaway and I will see what I can do!

I really hope this interests some of my readers, as blogging is something I am passionate about! Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you back here soon.

Subtle Autumn Shade | Mac Plumful

Hello everyone, today I wanted to do an autumn themed post because I feel as if I haven't done enough and I love the autumn time. Recently I went to London, and I really needed another lipstick that would suit the autumn time. I really wanted a Mac lipstick because I don't own enough, and I'd heard of the shade 'Plumful' and thought it was perfect for the autumn time.

The reason I LOVE this shade is because its not too dark. Its quite a scary thing going for a really dark lip when you're not used to it, and this is a really subtle purply colour that just looks really lovely. Its a 'lustre' lipstick however, which I was a bit unsure of when I bought it because I know that the matte / creme sheen formulas tend to be a bit more pigmented. However, this hasn't failed me yet! I'm pretty sure many of you will have heard of this lipstick before as well, because its not exactly new but I haven't seen many posts on it so I thought it could do with some recognition this autumn. If you're looking for a nice purply shade this autumn but you don't want to go all out or too dark, I would really recommend this beauty!

Whats your favourite autumnal lipstick? Thanks for reading guys, I hope you enjoyed.

Super Simple Skincare

Hello everyone, I'm back with another skincare post today because I've had quite troubled skin lately and I want to share what I've been using to help clear up my skin. Its been getting dark so early now, that I find it hard to get good lighting for my photos, which is very annoying because I would have liked to put in some more photos of these products, but never mind!

The first product on the left in the small blue tube is Garnier Pure Active Moisturiser. Its super cheap and it works amazingly. It claims to help spots, and keep skin moisturised for 24 hours. I think this has helped my spots and 'imperfections' slightly, however it just works really well as a moisturiser more than anything. The other incredible thing about this moisturiser is that I've had this for a good 4 months now, and it still hasn't run out! I use it everyday, and it still doesn't seem to be running out any time soon, its amazing, it just keeps on going. It doesn't really have a particular scent, other than maybe cucumber, but it just smells fresh and natural which I really love. So if you're looking for a cheap and really effective moisturiser, I would definitely recommend going for this one.

Second product is Simple Kind To Eye Revitalising Eye Roll-On. I love this because it is just simple. I have actually noticed a difference using this under my eyes, because usually I have quite dark circles under my eyes and this seems to just take them away a bit. It definitely makes you look less tired thats for sure, which is something that a lot of people want. You just roll this on under you eyes and then gently rub in what you've rolled on, easy! There are so many brands that have products similar to this, however I just liked the look of simple's one. I'd 100% recommend this product too, as I've had this for a while and its hardly run out!

Whats your favourite skincare products? Thanks for reading guys, I really hope you enjoyed!

Quick Fix Charcoal Face Mask

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't posted in such a long time. I have some exams coming up at school and it's kind of just been busy, but I'm desperate to keep posting because I love writing posts even if it is a small amount who do read, I appreciate it a lot. Anyway, my skin hasn't been the best lately and I've been trying to find new ways, or new products to help get rid of all the spots on my face. I was in Boots, and I'd seen 'Quick Fix' face masks before, and this one caught my eye.

This was £4.99 in Boots, personally I think that is really good. This is almost a dupe of the Sanctuary Spa charcoal face mask, just £5 cheaper! However this one doesn't heat up in your hands as you rub it onto your face. But I'm pretty sure it does mostly the same job. The smell of this face mask is actually really lovely, compared to some this has a fruity scent to it, which kind of surprised me, since its a charcoal face mask. It states on the back its 'packed with vitamin c' which is really good for your skin. You leave this on for 5-10 minutes, and like most face masks it hardens on your skin then you wash it off with warm water. It was really good and didn't irritate my skin at all, it was quite nice to have on my face and then as soon as I washed it off I could feel my skin was slightly softer.

I wouldn't say this totally took away my spots, but I wasn't expecting that. It's purpose is to help get away the black heads, dirt, and white heads on your skin anyway, but I feel as if it eased my spots a lot. They're not as puffy and red as they were the previous day, and I feel it's actually helped a bit. So overall, I think this a really good product to go for if you're not looking for an expensive face mask.

Whats your favourite face mask? Thankyou for reading guys, and I really hoped you enjoyed!

Halloween Eyeshadow Look

Hello everyone, I'm back with another halloween post! I'm going to talk through a halloween eyeshadow look, that has the effect of bruised looking eyes. This look could go well with dressing up as maybe a skeleton, witch, cat, anything you care to think of really. So lets get into this.

Firstly we're going to take the Maybelline Color Eye Tattoo in the shade Pomegranate. If you don't own this, then I know there are many cream eyeshadows similar, but if you had a shade similar, cream or powder use this to cover the whole of your eye lid. If you are using a cream colour, just put some on your finger to cover it. It doesn't matter if its messy, because thats what blending is for.

Taking the Real Techniques Deluxe Crease brush, start to blend into the crease and just underneath the eye gently. After that, we're  going to use the Naked 3 palette to add in some more colours and warmth. Taking the shade 'Darkside' which is the second to last shade in the pallet, run the through the crease over the top of the base shadow. You can also bring that down to under the eye as well. Then to brighten it up a little, take the shade 'Trick' and run that just above your top lash line and blend it up a bit, as this will give it a small burst of shimmer and brightness. Then finally take the darkest shade of them all, 'Blackheart' and use an angled brush or a brow brush, to go along your top lash line as you would with eyeliner. If you find eyeliner easier to use, you can do that and wing it out, but I chose to just stick with a dark eyeshadow and wing it out. Also you can bring that under your bottom lash line. As an added extra I took that down along the bone of my eye socket with a flick as I thought this looked quite unique and more halloween like? haha.

I hope you enjoyed this post and will maybe try it out or interpret it in some way. Thanks for reading!

Halloween Nail Ideas

Hello everyone, as you all know its coming up to halloween and that makes me super excited so I decided to do a halloween relate post. You should expect some more of these the coming weeks, because I love doing things for halloween! Today I thought I'd show a few nail polish colours that are perfect for halloween/halloween time. I will probably be doing a post on halloween nail art, so bare with me. I don't like going full out for halloween personally, so these nail polishes will be slightly on the simpler side. The two from the left side, are by Avon and BarryM. I included these two more simpler colours for people that may not be going all out, like myself but still want something quite dark and mysterious.

You can never go wrong with a red nail polish for halloween. There is so many ways you can work with this, whether it is simply painting your nails red or doing some cool nail art which looks like blood or something! This one is a super old one I have had for quite a while, I really should purchase a new one, but I never wear red nails other than around halloween time, oops. You can get red nail polishes anywhere for cheap, so I think this is a staple nail polish you will need this halloween! (Expect a tutorial on some nail art with this red soon)!

Glittery nails are always lovely all year round, but you can really do cool things with this on halloween. This is a Topshop nail polish, which is a really good one I must add. Whether you just paint your nails with this, or go over the top of another colour, it can always look good. I will be doing some nail art posts with this involved, so keep a watch out. You don't have to use this for just your nails either, as its halloween you could be really careful and take a few glitter bits and put them onto a part of your face maybe. This may not seem like a sensible idea to some, but I think it could work. haha.

Whats your favourite halloween nail polish colours? Thanks for reading guys, I hope you enjoyed and watch out for some halloween nail art tutorials coming soon!

Having A Bit Of Body Confidence

Hello everyone, I've decided I want to do Friday posts with a meaning. So each week I am sharing my thoughts on current topics and issues and maybe do a bit of advice, and even asking for advice. Today I was having lots of thoughts on a particular topic, which is body confidence. A really big issue that affects so many girls/women, including me. The reason I chose to use the photo at the top is because, what you think in your head about your body is not necessarily true. It is so easy to look in the mirror and pick out flaws and the things you dislike about yourself. However, it can be equally as easy to look in the mirror and pick out things you like about yourself. Its just finding that confidence.

Don't get me wrong, I am still learning to build up confidence because that is something I lack but I want to try and help people see a more positive side to their body. The older I've got the more I've grown to know that really, you can't copy everyone else. Its all about finding your own style. There is always a trend going when you're at school that everyone tends to follow, but if secretly you don't like it, then don't follow the crowd. If you personally don't think that look suits you and your body type, don't do it for the sake of looking 'cool'. Because at the end of the day, you have to look in the mirror and go, 'hey I really like this outfit today,' and see all those good things about your body.

Of course there are things on your body that just can't be changed, and that is something you have to learn to except. This is probably one of the hardest things of all. The things you can't change, do not define who you are as a person. They make you unique, different and beautiful. I think the main thing that affects people feeling down about their appearance is the way models and celebrities look. Most of the stuff you see is fake, whether its photoshopped or cosmetic stuff. But in some cases, some models and celebrities are gorgeous, down to earth people, but nobody can look exactly like them, because they are their own person and you are yours, and that is fine.

So that is just a few things I've touched on, there is so much more to say but I can save that for another day. I hope you took the time to read this and maybe feel a bit better about some things. Please feel free to comment with views on the subject and how you feel. Thanks for reading!

No7 Free Gift

Hello everyone, I'm really excited about this post, even though it's probably nothing huge. So, I brought a No7 mascara, and along with that came this little box. I had no idea what it was, there was no offer or anything so I was quite surprised. What is inside is even better!

Inside the small box, came a mini mascara, a eye shadow, a eye shadow brush and eye pencil. I was shocked to see that the pencil was full sized and not just a sample one like you usually get with free gifts. There is two ends to the pencil, one side with a deep purple/brown colour which is a crayon type pencil, and the other end just a sponge to blend with. The purple brown is perfect for the up coming autumn/winter. Secondly, the eye shadow. I LOVE the shade of this, its a shimmer shadow, which is similar to the eye crayon, but more brown based. It's almost a mauve colour, just with a bit more brown. The mascara, just a small black mascara, which looks really nice and I can't wait to try out. Finally the brush that came with it. I was also surprised to find a brush within this. It's really good quality, and looks good for just doing small bits of blending with eye shadow.

I hope that if you purchase something from No7 you will get a free gift like this also, because its amazingly good! Thanks for reading guys!

September Favourites

Hello everyone, again I apologise for not posting enough I just find it hard to find the time. However, I know September has now gone (so sad), but these are my favourites from last month!

Tangle Teezer I got this for my birthday, which was in September, and I have wanted one for ages! I did used to have one, but it was made by 'tangle teezer', so it wasn't the same. I get super knotty hair and this has just worked really well with managing my mess of hair. Would recommend getting one of these a lot. Plus, the colour is so cool!
Mac Lipstick Russian Red Another thing I got for my birthday, which I was SO grateful for! I've never wanted to ccommitto buying a pricey lipstick or make up product. Oops. But honestly, this lipstick is the most amazing red I've ever seen in my life. I'm sure everybody has already heard about this, because I know how popular it is and most people have it. I can't see any red lipstick beating this one in my book though!
L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation I bought this at the beginning of September, because I was desperate for a foundation that didn't just slip off my face, because of my oily skin. I did a blog post on this foundation where I just raved about it, so if you want to know more you can read here.
Naked 3 Palette I ALSO got this for my birthday, I was so spoilt I must say, and this is my FAVOURITE thing EVER! I'd been using my mua palette for ages, and as good as it is, it's nothing compared to this beauty. I love this so much, the pigmentation in the eye shadows is incredible and just all round amazing, I'm sure you've all heard about it anyway.
Crispy M&Ms These have been my favourite things forever, just thought I'd include them, they're the best things and if you haven't ever tried them before, I'd advice you go and buy yourself some and you will fall in love.

What were your September favourites? I hope you enjoyed this post, and thanks for reading guys!

Getting Down To Work

Hello everyone, I'm so sorry I haven't posted a lot recently, back to school has been way too busy. So this post is rather relevant, I hope that anyone who has been back to school, college etc will maybe like this post and use a few things!

First off, just sit down and have a look at the work you have to do, and the way in which I choose what pieces of work I will do first, is check when I next have that lesson. For example, if I have it the next day, that's the first piece I will do. It's always fun to use different colours when working, to highlight things and writing out key points. (Not that doing homework is fun, but it might just brighten it up a bit, haha).

Just to make it a little bit more relaxing when you have a ton of work in front of you, I like to light a candle. The one I have is 'coconut banana', which smells incredible! I find candles relaxing, and just help me to concentrate a bit more than I maybe would without.

Finally, I love having music playing whilst I'm doing homework and things. Not too loud but just quietly in the background. The 1975 are my favourite band EVER, So that's what I love to play, I find it super relaxing. So having your favourite band/singer playing in the background can be helpful to get you down to work, and you can also have a little sing along whilst working, even if you can't sing, like me.

I hope you enjoyed these small tips that help me get on with working and make the time pass quicker. Do you have anything that helps you work? Thanks for reading everyone!

Ghost Eclipse

Hello everyone, so it was my birthday very recently and I was super lucky to get this perfume. I'd asked for it, but wasn't sure I'd get it because it is slightly pricey. Well, depending on how much you'd want to pay for a perfume! I know I can't go on about this because of course, you can't exactly smell it. Which sucks, because it smells gorgeous. I'll try my best to describe, haha.
So first off, can we just talk about the packaging. It's just the most amazing perfume bottle I've ever seen! It is shaped like a crescent moon, with the colour going from an orangey colour, to red. Hence the name 'eclipse'. This is the 50ml bottle, but I feel like there is more because of the shape. I can only describe the smell as slightly fruity, but not a sweet fruity smell. With maybe an under smell which is a little bit floral. I'm the worst at describing smells, but just take it from me that the smell is just the best thing ever. I watched one of Zoella's videos, where she talks about this and thats where I found my love for this perfume. Ghost do also have another moon shaped perfume out, which is called 'Deep Night', which is a dark coloured bottle. Also one more super good thing about this, the smell lasts on you ALL day, which with some perfumes just doesn't happen, but this stays strong pretty much throughout your day.

Whats your favourite perfume? I hope you enjoyed this post and it's made you want to go out and have a smell at this gorgeous perfume. Thanks for reading!

What I've Learnt When Buying Make Up

Hello everyone, today I thought I'd share with you a few hints and tricks when buying make up! I'd like to say this is for beginners but then again, I'm still learning and I guess I could take a few tips from myself still, haha. Anyway, here we go.

  • If you're starting out with make up, never go straight into the deep end. Go for a foundation, or mascara or whatever you're planning on buying, from a fairly cheap brand. Just so you can just test and try and work out how to use it in a way that's good for you.
  • Kind of something to add to that first point, ALWAYS find a foundation/concealer/powder etc, that is correct to your skin tone. There is nothing worse than buying a foundation without testing it, getting home and finding out its to orange or to pale for your skin. In pretty much every place you can buy make up, whether it be a drugstore or a high end shop, someone will help you out picking the right colour for you.
  • Don't go for something just because everyone else loves it. If you're doubting whether or not to buy a new product everyone else loves, don't feel you have to buy it! Especially if it's expensive, maybe ask for a tester before you go out and spend loads of money to see if its really right for you.
  • You can never have enough mascaras. This is probably a really bad point, but I honestly can't get enough of mascaras. Is that bad? Every mascara is so different, and it can be hard to find a really good one. So trying a few is never bad, right?
  • If you're starting with make up, I don't think make up brushes are essential. However, the more you get into make up and things, they're a pretty good thing to be using. Blending with your hands and fingers can be fine, but brushes can sometimes do a better job I think. Especially when it comes to eyeshadow, brushes are something you want to be using.
What have you guys learnt over the time you've been using make up? I hope you all enjoyed this post, and thank you for reading!
