7 Deadly Sins Of Beauty Tag

Hello everyone, like I said I'd really like too start posting some more, so I'm back doing a beauty related post and I really hope you enjoy!

What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
My most inexpensive beauty item is probably my MUA bronzer, which was just £1. I really do love this product, and for a £1 it does its job very well! My most expensive item I own is my Soap & Glory Solar Powder, which was £11. I know that is cheap to some, however I don't own hardly any high end make up, due to it being so expensive. But I plan on getting the Naked 3 palette, and making up my own Mac eye shadow palette, but for now it's just my Soap and Glory Solar Powder!

What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?
Definitely have a love/hate relationship with eyeliners! Especially liquid eyeliners, I find them soo difficult too apply and I always apply to much and I look awful. Then again, if it ever goes right (which it rarely does), I think it can be so great, and look really good. Think it just takes a bit of practice!
And I haven't found a beauty product that I've had a struggle too find yet, I'm sure there is a first time for everything though right?
Topshop Liner (Top Left), Scandal Eyes by Rimmel (Top Right), White Soft Kohl Pencil by Rimmel (Bottom Left), Black Pencil Eye Liner (Bottom Right).

What are your most delicious beauty products?
100% my Tanya Burr Lip Glosses, oh my gosh, they are just the most amazing smelling lip glosses ever. I want to eat them off my lips, haha. Also my bodyshop strawberry born lippy lipbalm. Smells soo good!

What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
Usually eye liner, because I find it so hard to apply and I just don't have the time. Or some days I'll skip eye shadow, but hardly ever. Both kind of take up too much time to apply in the morning, as much as I love them both!

What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
This one has GOT to be red lipstick/lip gloss. There is just something about wearing it that makes me feel so good, maybe it's just me I don't know? haha.

What attributes do you find most attractive on the opposite sex?
Bit of an odd one since this isn't beauty related? But anyway, I think someone who can have a good laugh and has a nice personality?

What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
Something I probably can't afford right now, such as the Naked 3 palette, or a Mac blush/lipstick etc. That'd be reeeally nice!

Hope you enjoyed this guys, I'll try and do some more posts soon, please comment what else you'd like to see, thanks!

July Favourites

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a very long time, I sort of stopped with the whole blogging thing as I hadn't got any new beauty products or had any super great ideas. However, I am determined to get back into it! So I do apologies to anyone who actually reads my blog! Today I am doing a July favourites, these are probably my favourite posts to do and I love seeing what everyone elses favourites are, so lets get into it!

The first two things are the new BarryM Gelly Nail Paint colours in the colours Sugar Apple and Pomegranate. Sugar Apple is such a gorgeous colour, especially for the summer. Its a pastel blue/green colour, and of course as its a gelly, stays on so well and doesn't really require a top coat. Pomegranate is also such a lovely colour, I think it would be perfect for both summer and autumn/winter as its quite a dark colour. Would definitely recommend these two!

Next is Tanya Burr's lip gloss in 'Picnic In The Park'. I also have 'Vampire Kiss' from her lip gloss range, and the two I own are GORGEOUS! Picnic In The Park is just the perfect sweet pink colour for summer, and the smell of these lip glosses is super yummy, good enough too eat. I love this lip gloss so much, and would definitely say it's worth the purchase.

So next is a bronzer, that looks quite dirty in the picture I'm sorry about that! I've had it for a few months now that's why. Anyway, its an MUA bronzer. I know people have mixed reviews on MUA, it is very cheap but if I'm honest I love this bronzer. It looks quite dark and harsh, but if you have the right amount on your brush it works perfectly, so I've been using this as my go to bronzer this summer.

Finally the BarryM Natural Glow Shadow and Blush Palette. Now I have put this in my favourites because the colours are really lovely. However the pigmentation is quite poor. They're faint, and you need quite a lot on your brush. But if you're going for a subtle 'natural' look then really it does the job. My favourite is the dark brown on the far right, I just blend that into my crease and that turns out quite nice. The palette is a mixture of shimmers and mattes which is also a plus. I haven't yet tried the blusher but the pink does look like such a lovely colour!

So that is it for my July favourites! I'll try and post more often I promise, please comment what else you'd like too see because that'd help me out so much! Thanks guys.

Beauty Scenario Tag

Hello everyone, sorry again I haven't been posting a lot but I recently watched Gabi's (velvetgh0st) video, 'The Beauty Scenario Tag', and just instantly wanted to do it! So here we gooooo!

One) You have to get rid of all your foundations and you can only keep one high end and one drugstore, which do you keep?

Well, to be honest I have never owned a 'high end' foundation but if you could count the 'No7 Essentially Natural Foundation' which retails for £9.95, which I guess you couldn't say is high end. I love this foundation a lot, especially for summer. It is quite a light coverage but the finish is really lovely and gives you quite a glow. Now, my 'drugstore' foundation would have to be the 'Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation'. I use this pretty much everyday, it gives such good coverage, blends super well, and it just all round amazing! Would never get rid of this foundation.

Two) You go for an interview and the lady interviewing has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?

I think I'd probably ignore it, as much as I hate to be the person with a bit of lipstick on my teeth, I'd just feel so rude telling her. So I'd have too ignore it!

Three) You're not feeling yourself and need a pick me up. Which lipstick do you put on to make yourself feel beautiful?

I would definitely reach for my 'Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Vampire Kiss' this is just the most gorgeous red colour, i know it's not a lipstick but kinda counts right? The red is so vibrant and I just feel super good when wearing this!

Four) You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and makeup differently?

This is kind of an awkward question because I am in my teenage years, but I guess I'll go back to when I was around 12-13? Which is obviously only a few years ago. Anyway, I think the first make up product I bought was a natural collection powder, which was probably too light for my skin colour. I used to just wear that, and cake it on for school to try and fit in with others who were wearing make up. I honestly knew nothing about make up then. For my hair, wow when I was 12 I got it cut quite short with like a ton of layers which looked awful. I didn't know how to style it or anything and it honestly looked so awful and did not do anything for me!

Five) You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott haircut, but they hear wrong and give you a pixie cut. Do you A) Smile and say thankyou, leave then call your mum hysterically. B) Cry in the chair and things get awkward. C) Complain to the manager and demand a refund.

I would be horrified if I had a pixie cut! I think I'd probably be the person to just say thankyou, leave and then cry to my mum and get her to complain to them! I know I'd be very angry about it though, because it'd take so long to grow back out!!

Six) Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break and you have 1 hour to pack. Which 'do it all' palette do you pack in your make up bag?

I'd have to say my MUA Undress Me Too eye shadow palette, because you can do so much with that. There is shades too highlight with, shades to colour eyebrows in and obviously just for eye shadow. I love it.

Seven) Your house has been robbed, don't worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What's the product you really hope is safe?

This is a tough one, umm I'd have to say either my sleek blusher or my soap and glory solar powder. Neither high end products, but things that I always reach for and just would be annoyed if taken. I live for blushers, and I just love my sleek one so I'd be pretty angry if that was gone!!

Eight) Your friend borrows your makeup and returns it in awful condition. Do you A) Just pretend you haven't noticed. B) Ask them to repurchase it. C) Secretly do the same to something of theirs.

Well I would never do the same to theirs because that wouldn't end very well. I'd probably ask them why they did it and how, depending on how much the product was I'd probably ask for some money towards some new make up.

Thanks for reading, and I tag anyone to do this! I'll be posting more soon.
