Books To Read This Summer

Wednesday, 8 July 2015

I don't know about anyone else but summer seems to be the time where I find myself with a book in my hand the most. I've chosen some of my favourite books that I think are perfect reads for summer!

We Were Liars - E. Lockhart
This may be one of my favourite books ever, let alone a summer read. Its written so well, I wouldn't say its an easy read because you really have to concentrate. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but you may find yourself shocked, happy or even crying throughout this book. Its a truly amazing read and I recommend this to everyone.

Looking For Alaska - John Green
Who doesn't love a bit of John Green? Looking For Alaska is definitely my favourite book I've read of his, its easy to read and quite lighthearted in places. Again, I think you'll feel mixed emotions throughout this book, I certainly did and got quite attached to certain characters. Definitely a lovely summer read.

Ketchup Clouds - Annabel Pitcher
This is quite a twisted tale, I found I couldn't put this down. It grips you, as you just want to know more, a real page turner. Not a typical love story, however there is a girl and boys...involved. Quite a quick and easy read, perfect for the summer.

13 Reasons Why - Jay Asher
I enjoyed the format of this book, and how as you read it the mystery would unfold. Makes it quite a page turner. This is a boy loves girl story, but definitely not cliche as you will find out when you read, actually its very different. Its easy to read and fun to unfold the mysteries each page at a time!

What are some of your favourite books?
