Center Parcs: Photo Diary

Friday, 19 August 2016

For our family holiday this year we took a trip to Center Parcs...

My first birthday was spent at Center Parcs (how cute) and we've made a couple of trips since, so it was nice to be revisiting. I went to the Center Parcs in Longleat, right next to Longleat Zoo in fact. Its essentially a huge woodland area where you can do lots of activities. We spent a fair bit of time in the pool, as it had really cool slides. The rapids (pictured above) were SO much fun as well, even though I did end up bruising my knee quite badly. We went canoeing and pedalo-ing(?!) across the lake which was so relaxing, well the pedaloing was much more relaxing as I didn't have to do anything but sit there haha.

On the Wednesday my Mum and I had a spa morning. I've never been to a spa before because I've been too young but finally I was allowed to go in haha. We went in various meditation rooms and I honestly don't think I've been more relaxed, I actually fell asleep. We also had a facial booked in, which was soo nice. I wish I could have one every day, my skin felt amazing afterwards. Before we left the spa we sat down and had some pastries and drinks and it was all very fancy. Theeen back to reality. The rest of the week was spent lounging around, reading and playing badminton. It was lovely to get away for a bit and have a relaxing five days.

Have you ever visited Center Parcs?

    1. I'd say be careful with paying out for certain things as some of the actives can be really over priced! Swimming is your best bet for a fun afternoon/morning, but just pick activities you know you'll like and I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay!

Centerparcs is my happy place so this post was lovely to read, especially that you'd been to the spa as I always go there (except Whinfell not Longleat). Hoping to go for my birthday in March!
