My Evening Routine

skincare, evening routine, beauty, blogger, lifestyle, garnier, zoella sweet inspirations, zoella beauty,

Since the days are getting colder, what better time to put together an evening routine...

First things first (I'm the realest)...taking off that makeup. No better feeling am I right ladies?! I recently picked up the new Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water. I was intrigued to see what this was like compared to my normal micellar water, so just had to give it a go. It takes my makeup off just as well as any other micellar water if I'm honest, but I do like the way it breaks down my eye makeup. Its heavily scented so if you're not a fan of scented skincare this one isn't for you. Then its time to hop into the shower.

If you saw my recent 'Shop My Shower' then you'll see what I like to use in my shower. I've really been enjoying the Soap & Glory Foam Call body wash. It honestly smells incredible. Then I hop out of the shower, dry myself off, get into my cosy pyjamas and pop on some moisturiser. Oh actually, before that is my skincare routine. I plan on doing a post all about my current routine so stay tuned for that! Anyway, I used to be so lazy when it came to moisturising my body, but recently my skins become a bit dry. I recently picked up the Zoella Double Créme Body Cream from her newest range. Its really inexpensive and smells truly amazing. My skin feels so soft and lovely after using it.

Once the moisturising is done, I'll go onto dry my hair because I don't really enjoy sleeping with wet hair. Then its time for bed. I'll either sit reading through blog posts, or read a book. I'm currently reading Reasons To Stay Alive by Matt Haig. I'm absolutely loving it so far, and if you suffer with a mental illness or know someone who does I'd really recommend this. Actually no, just read it regardless as to whether you have one or not, its just so insightful. Theeen....lights off!

What does your evening routine look like?

  1. Oil based Garnier Micellar water is a staple in my everyday routine! I also try applying moisturizer (Shiseido Pureness gel cream) and a lip balm (Blistex Classic) before going to sleep. Of course, a good book is essential. For me, it's mostly fantasy or SF genre :D

  21. I'm a bit nervous to try the oil based micellar water, just because I have oily skin as it is and I don't know if rubbing more oil on it is a good idea 😬
