October Glossybox 2016

Theres always something special about monthly subscription boxes...

Last week I received my October Glossybox. I really enjoyed the September edit, so couldn't wait to get my hands on this month. Although September's was much better, there was still a good selection this month. I believe Estèe collaborated with Glossybox this month as well, which is really cool!

Trifle Cosmetics Lip Parfait - Buttery Lip Cream | RPR £12.95
The packaging of this product intregued me so much, I mean look at it, its gorgeous! Although quite cheap feeling, as its made from cardboard. As for the product, it looks gorgeous in the tube buut its a big no for me on the lips. Its far to pale for me, and really drags across the lips, and generally sits pretty badly.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate | RPR £25
I didn't even realise these were in my box until I properly looked at the card that comes with the box. Its a mini sample, and got lost at the bottom of the box haha. Anyway, I was really happy to receive this. Although I think its aimed at anti-ageing, I still find this really nice. Its cooling and sinks into the skin really nicely.

Universal Beauty Cosmetics Secret Flush, Soothing Cream Blusher & Lip Stain Duo | RPR £15
I flipping love this. I rarely ever wear blusher, I don't really know why. But this sort of prompted me to give blusher another go. The colour of this is gorgeous, blends amazingly and is just generally a fab product. I haven't tried it on the lips yet, but I think I'll just stick to the cheeks. Thumbs up from me!

Bee Good Honey & Camelina Facial Exfoliator | RPR £10.50
I've seen this brand floating around, and I was really pleased to receive something from them. This is suitable for all skin types so thats a bonus. I'm all for exfoliators as I have quite a lot of dry skin around my nose area. This is so gentle, and smells really lovely. Nothing harsh about this at all, yet it left my skin feeling really smooth.

PS...Pro Graphic Eyeliner | RPR £3
This is a huge eyeliner pen thing from Primark's beauty range. Annnnnd I hate it. Its a super thick eyeliner pen and its impossible to use to be honest. Just not a fan, and probably won't be using this one!

Overall, this was a pretty good box with a few really lovely goodies!

Did you enjoy October's Glossybox?

  9. I've never ordered a Glossybox, but I have tried to Cohorted Beauty Boxes and I love them because there is normally a couple of things in there from big named brands - which is always a bonus! I think boxes like this are a great way of trying out products you wouldn't normally use xo
