The Sun And Her Flowers

Coming at you with something a little bit different today. I recently picked up Rupi Kaur's latest poetry book, 'The Sun and Her Flowers'. I absolutely love 'Milk and Honey', so of course I was going to love this too. Rupi Kaur writes the most beautiful poetry, and it always seems to make me feel something. So, I thought I'd share a few of the poem's from this book that I love the most.

'a lot of times
we are angry at other people
for not doing what
we should have done for ourselves'
- responsibility
'the right one does not
stand in your way
they make space for you
to step forward'

'never feel guilty for starting again'
'we have been dying
since we got here
and forgot to enjoy the view'
- live fully

I know this post was quite different from my usual stuff, but I thought I'd give it a try and who doesn't love a bit of poetry?! Happy Sunday.

  9. I didn't think poetry would be my kind of thing but after reading those short poems, I'm definitely intrigued! Maybe I'll add it to my Christmas wishlist, which is basically just an Amazon book wishlist at this point.

Anyway thanks for sharing your find! Bekki / www.filler-chapters.com
