#TimeToTalk • Talking about mental health isn’ #TimeToTalk • Talking about mental health isn’t something anybody should be ashamed of and I think as a society, we’re doing a great job at moving forward with breaking the stigma. Opening up conversations can be a lifeline for so many people, making them feel less alone etc.

As someone who struggles with anxiety, I don’t know where I’d be without those open conversations. I rely on my medication a lot but opening up about how I feel takes so much pressure off and can be used as a distraction too.

Talking is key, keeping the conversation going is key and looking out for one another is key. Of course, there is more that needs to be done in terms of funding so more people are able to talk to professionals but lets do what we can🙌🏼✨

theBalm Nude Tude Eyeshadow Palette

July 15, 2015

/ uncategorized

I’m a bit late on the bandwagon with this one, but I got round to purchasing theBalm Nude Tude eyeshadow palette, and I couldn’t resist talking about it!

This is a predominantly nude palette, hence the name ‘Nude Tude’. The shades range from a white all the way to black. All the in between shades are gorgeous, with a mix match of shimmers and mattes. The formula of these eyeshadows are quite creamy, not chalky at all and seem to blend really well. This retails for £26, which I think is quite good since you get 12 lovely shades. I’d never tried anything from theBalm before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, to say the least I am pleasantly surprised.

From left to right the shades are: Sassy, Stubborn, Selfish, Sophisticated, Sexy and Serious. This is the top line of the palette. You can’t see the second shade (Stubborn), very well as its quite a pale peachy colour. Apart from that the rest of the shades are all stunning and easy to work with.

From left to right the shades are: Snobby, Stand-Offish, Sultry, Seductive, Silly and Sleek. And this is the bottom line of the palette. Again its hard to see the second colour as its a pale champagne shimmer shade, but still beautiful. My favourite out of the whole palette has to be Sultry, as its the perfect crease colour as its a subtle darkish brown matte. My only concern with this palette is the packaging, its cardboard and slightly flimsy. I’d be scared to take it when travelling incase it gets bashed and broken. However it does have a magnetic close, which I do like. Apart from the cardboard packaging, I really love how it’s all laid out and the colour range it provides.

Have you ever tried anything from theBalm?
