#TimeToTalk • Talking about mental health isn’ #TimeToTalk • Talking about mental health isn’t something anybody should be ashamed of and I think as a society, we’re doing a great job at moving forward with breaking the stigma. Opening up conversations can be a lifeline for so many people, making them feel less alone etc.

As someone who struggles with anxiety, I don’t know where I’d be without those open conversations. I rely on my medication a lot but opening up about how I feel takes so much pressure off and can be used as a distraction too.

Talking is key, keeping the conversation going is key and looking out for one another is key. Of course, there is more that needs to be done in terms of funding so more people are able to talk to professionals but lets do what we can🙌🏼✨

The Personality Test

September 18, 2015

/ uncategorized

I apologise for the late post today people – I hadn’t scheduled anything and have been pretty busy this week! Anyway – today is a different sort of post, a chatty one (which I love) and its all to do with personality!

So I was talking to one of my friends the other day, who brought up an online test that you can do which gives you a personality type and all the traits to go along with it. I was so intrigued by this, I just had to do it! Its honestly one of the most interesting things I’ve done and you get to find out so much more about yourself and you can also relate to what they’re saying – its very interesting.

I’ll tell you all about the personality type I ended up with first. Once I’d completed the serious of questions they ask you, I ended up with the personality type INFJ (The Advocate). What it says about the INFJ personality type is; it is a very rare personality type, making up less than 1% of the population, but nonetheless leave their mark on the world. As Diplomats they have an inborn sense of idealism and morality, but what sets them apart is the accompanying judge trait – INFJs are not idle dreamers, but people capable of taking concrete steps to realise their goals and make a lasting positive impact. Now personally I think this is the right personality type for me, I believe that statement fits me very well. Once you get the results, it has 8 pages explaining your personality type in different aspects of your life such as, what you’re like in a relationship, what you’re like around your friends, your strengths and weaknesses etc.

As a summery I ended up leaning towards being an introvert – meaning I prefer being out of social situations and more in my own company. I am more intuitive over being observant, which means that I am quite open minded and focus on hidden meanings within things. I am more prospecting over judging which just means I’m good at spotting opportunities. And finally I am more turbulent over being assertive – simply meaning I am quite self conscious and sensitive to stress (pretty true if you ask me)!

I found this so interesting to do and be able to realise a bit more about myself. I’d really encourage you to take this test, just to see what you end up with and maybe you’ll take a few things away with it like I did! The website is www.16personalities.com and its completely free and is just a cool thing to do in my opinion. Will Darbyshire also took this test and made a video about it over on his Youtube channel which you can check out here. I’d love to hear what personality type you end up with, so if you take the test let me know in the comments! I hope you enjoyed this lifestyle type post today folks!

What personality type did you end up with?
