Some Old Favourites

October 23, 2015

/ uncategorized

I have a few of my old favourite makeup products to show today, ones that I’ve used for years mostly. Thought I’d talk about them a bit, enjoy!

Soap & Glory Solar Powder | £11

I must admit when I first bought this I wasn’t a fan – but I stuck with it and kept using it and now it has become my all time favourite bronzer. Its very subtle and gives you a lovely healthy glow if you use the right amount. I haven’t even hit pan on this and I’ve had it for about a year now. This does actually have new packaging now which is much more sturdy but I love this nonetheless.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation | £7.99

One of the best drugstore foundations in my opinion, I feel as though its quite hard for a drugstore foundation to be up to a great standard but this just does it for me. It gives quite a dewy look, without sliding off your face throughout the day. Its not at all caky and they have a pretty decent shade range. A foundation I will always love and go back to.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder | £3.99

I apologise for the state that this powder is in, clearly well loved. Anyway this was one of the first makeup products I used – one of my favourites. A simple pressed powder that works wonders at keeping your face matte throughout the day. Although I love my Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder; this one is just as good and at a much cheaper price. I’d say if you were looking for a matte finish pressed powder, opt for this!

Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me | £2.99
Who remembers that baby lips craze when they came over to the UK? I went and bought them all haha..oops! This one in particular is my all time favourite, it gives a lovely subtle red tint to your lips and its so super creamy. Lovely for every day wear.

What are some of your all time favourite products?

Lucy x
