My Top 5 Nude Lipsticks

forever september, top 5 nude lipsticks, nude lipsticks, lipstick, liquid lipstick, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, makeup, nyx cosmetics, essence cosmetics, revolution, charlotte tilbury, boots, superdrugAnother beauty post?! Yup, thats right people! I really enjoyed writing my transitional beauty picks post, so today I thought I’d share with you, my favourite nude lipsticks.

Over the years I’ve become quite the lipstick fanatic, especially when it comes to nudes. Don’t get me wrong, I love a bright lip too, especially red but its just not as appropriate for day time wear. But anyway, my first pick is NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi. This is a true nude shade, with no pink undertones at all. I love the formula of the soft matte lip creams, they’re really comfortable and not drying at all. Another NYX offering is the NYX Liquid Suede in Softly Spoken. Now this is a much pinker nude in comparison to the soft matte lip cream but honestly, one of my most worn lipsticks. Its a shade that seems to go with whatever makeup look I’ve chosen to do and again, doesn’t feel overly drying on the lips. If you’re looking for a cheap liquid lipstick, I’d highly recommend either of these from NYX!

The entire range Soph has created with Revolution is to die for (especially the eyeshadow palette as you may have seen in my last beauty post). Again, this lipstick is on the pinker side of things but its stunning. It has a creamy finish to it, so doesn’t feel uncomfortable to wear like some matte lipsticks would. And although it isn’t matte, I still find its lasting power is incredible and I only have to top this up a little after I’ve had food. Plus, its only £4 – winning! Another insanely cheap but amazing nude lipstick that I swear by, is the Essence Longlasting Lipstick in Barely There. This is the perfect lipstick to just throw on if you’re in a bit of a rush because its pretty much guaranteed it’ll go with whatever makeup look you’ve gone for that day. Its only £2.30 in Wilko as well, which is incredible. The quality is amazing and its not a lipstick that needs topping up every 5 minutes either, an absolute winner in my eyes.

Last but by no means least, a bit of a pricier product. Its Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk. I could rave about CT lipsticks for days, they’re incredible. I’m so glad I bit the bullet and purchased this, as its become a firm favourite in my every day makeup routine. It feels so luxurious to use, with its weighty rose gold packaging. Its also a matte formula, so guaranteed to stay put that little bit longer, even through food and drink. This lipstick really is my idea of a perfect nude and I know when it runs out I’ll be repurchasing for sure, because I don’t think I could live without it now!

What are your go-to nude lipsticks?
