Testing Out Dermalogica Products

testing out dermalogica products, skincare, beauty, skincare routine, makeup, dermalogica, breakouts, blemish prone, lifestyle, forever septemberAhh, back at it again with a skincare post. I’m sure its pretty obvious by now, I love my skincare and I’m so happy to be a part of the Dermalogica ‘Skinfluencer’ programme. I was kindly sent a big box of goodies to try out, so I thought I’d share and talk through each one!

As you can see, theres two different ranges here. Their ‘Daily Skin Health’ range (on the left) and ‘Clear Start’ range (on the right). Dermalogica have a variety of different ranges, tailored for different skin types/needs. We’ll start with the daily skin health, then head onto the clear start. Sooo, the first product is the Solar Defence Booster*. I think this is a brilliant idea, you mix this to your moisturiser or foundation and it adds in some UV protection. You can also use it on its own for SPF50.testing out dermalogica products, skincare, beauty, skincare routine, makeup, dermalogica, breakouts, blemish prone, lifestyle, forever septemberI guess I should do this in order of how you’d do a skincare routine really, so we’ll go onto the Precleanse*. If you’re a double cleanse kinda person like myself, then you’ll love this. This melts off any makeup/impurities from the day, ready for your second cleanse. The next product from the daily skin health range that I received was the Daily Microfoliant*. Essentially, this is an exfoliator but a very gentle one. This is a powder product that you have to add water to, to create a paste which you then apply to the skin. I’ve tried this out a few times now and I love it and the way it makes my skin feel afterwards.

Now moving onto the ‘Clear Start’ range. This is aimed towards people who suffer from breakouts quite regularly, which I often do. Lets start with the Breakout Clearing Foaming Wash*. I’ve been using this daily for a few days now and I’m really enjoying it. You apply this to a damp face and massage in. It doesn’t have a particular scent, just sort of fresh and clean which is quite nice if you don’t like fragranced products.

Moving onto the next step, and thats the Breakout Clearing All Over Toner*. This helps to control excess oils and also helps to eliminate break outs. This is just what I need as I have quite an oily t-zone and like I say, suffer with breakouts from time to time, so this will definitely keep those at bay. Last but not least, we have the Skin Smoothing Hydrating Lotion*. The last step in your routine, a lightweight moisturiser. With it being lightweight, it doesn’t irritate the skin and helps to tackle any dehydrated areas you may have.

From what I’ve tried so far, I’m so impressed with these Dermalogica products and I can feel them working on my skin. I’m looking forward to trying out more from them and I’m sure one or two products will make it into a favourites or a future skincare routine post!

Have you ever tried any products from Dermalogica?
