Something a little bit different from me today but I’d love to start sharing more of my photography on here. Over the summer, I travelled to Bristol, Cardiff and Brighton and took my film camera with me. I absolutely love shooting on film, theres something so pure about not being able to see the image as soon as you’ve shot it. So, I thought I’d share some of the photos I got whilst I was away on these lil trips. The first image in this post was taken in Bristol, which is a city I’d love to go back to. There is some amazing street art dotted around the place and this was a piece that caught my eye. I love that you can turn a corner and be struck with a huge piece of art, its pretty cool. The photo of the table and chairs was in Cardiff. I think we must’ve walked past it about 3 times before I managed to get a photo of it, I don’t know what it was about it, I just wanted to get a photo haha. Then the two images above were back in Bristol. These were some back streets as we were going for breakfast. There was a lot of graffiti and run down/abandoned buildings which looked really cool. At the beginning of August, I went to Brighton for a night and managed to get a few photos. I really like the one of The Pavilion through the trees as we weren’t able to go in when we were there due to an incident, so at least I have that haha. The second image is just of a little pub on a corner of the lanes which I thought looked quite cute. I did have a few more images but I think from the bunch, these were my favourites.
I know these photos aren’t the best quality, due to them being scanned in from negatives but I do love the way film images look. I’d love to share more of my photography on here from time to time, as its something I absolutely love.
