Summer In Black And White

forever september, summer on black and white, photography, analogue, bristol, cardiff, brighton, film, canon ae1, documentary, lifestyleSomething a little bit different from me today but I’d love to start sharing more of my photography on here. Over the summer, I travelled to Bristol, Cardiff and Brighton and took my film camera with me. I absolutely love shooting on film, theres something so pure about not being able to see the image as soon as you’ve shot it. So, I thought I’d share some of the photos I got whilst I was away on these lil trips. forever september, summer on black and white, photography, analogue, bristol, cardiff, brighton, film, canon ae1, documentary, lifestyleforever september, summer on black and white, photography, analogue, bristol, cardiff, brighton, film, canon ae1, documentary, lifestyleThe first image in this post was taken in Bristol, which is a city I’d love to go back to. There is some amazing street art dotted around the place and this was a piece that caught my eye. I love that you can turn a corner and be struck with a huge piece of art, its pretty cool. The photo of the table and chairs was in Cardiff. I think we must’ve walked past it about 3 times before I managed to get a photo of it, I don’t know what it was about it, I just wanted to get a photo haha. Then the two images above were back in Bristol. These were some back streets as we were going for breakfast. There was a lot of graffiti and run down/abandoned buildings which looked really cool.forever september, summer on black and white, photography, analogue, bristol, cardiff, brighton, film, canon ae1, documentary, lifestyle forever september, summer on black and white, photography, analogue, bristol, cardiff, brighton, film, canon ae1, documentary, lifestyleAt the beginning of August, I went to Brighton for a night and managed to get a few photos. I really like the one of The Pavilion through the trees as we weren’t able to go in when we were there due to an incident, so at least I have that haha. The second image is just of a little pub on a corner of the lanes which I thought looked quite cute. I did have a few more images but I think from the bunch, these were my favourites.

I know these photos aren’t the best quality, due to them being scanned in from negatives but I do love the way film images look. I’d love to share more of my photography on here from time to time, as its something I absolutely love.
