If you’ve been into beauty for a while, I’m sure you’ll remember what Topshop’s beauty range used to look like. Does cream packaging, with a funky font and scribbly polka dots ring a bell? Well, things have changed my friends. Topshop relaunched their beauty range at the end of last year and it looks better than ever.
Topshop beauty feels very nostalgic to me, as I clearly remember when I was about 13, picking up my first ever liquid liner from there. As I grew older, other brands were on my radar and high street makeup wasn’t something I was particularly interested in. I guess Topshop’s beauty range was becoming outdated, their packaging had been the same for a number of years and change was inevitable. So, heres what I picked up from their new and improved change.
matte powder blush in game changer
Until about a year ago, I didn’t really touch blusher. However, things have changed and I’ve now realised that its great for adding an extra bit of colour. This blush in the shade game changer is perfect for a natural, everyday look. The pigmentation isn’t too intense, which is great because too much blush can be a bit of a disaster. Overall, I’m super happy with this and is currently my go-to blush.chameleon eye shadow in reverse
chameleon eye shadow in reverse
As soon as I saw this, I couldn’t resist. I’m an eyeshadow fanatic (I have way too many) but I knew I had to give this a try. This is in the shade reverse, which is a bronzy/pink ombre colour. Honestly, my two favourite colours. Its also super shimmery, leaning towards glittery actually. The pigmentation isn’t amazing I have to say, but when layered on top of a liquid shadow, it works really well.
waterproof intense mascara in stage dive
One makeup product I love to constantly switch up, is mascara. The only mascara I’ve ever found that I really love is the Maybelline Lash Sensational. However, this mascara in stage dive is coming in a close second. The brush is a perfect size, as I always find the bigger wands leave mascara on my eyelids, which is super annoying after I’ve already done my eyeshadow. Another bonus being, this doesn’t give me panda eyes – YAY! Thats one of my pet hates when it comes to mascara.
glow liquid highlighter in misty
Lets just take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this packaging. Usually I stick to powder highlighter, but I was so tempted by this. There are three different shades, but I opted for misty due to my pale complexion. With just a few drops, this gives the most effortless glow and I am well and truly obsessed to be honest!
cream lipstick in mink
The final thing I picked up in this lil haul, was the cream finish lipstick in mink. A gorgeous brown toned nude shade thats perfect for every day wear. This shade is right up my street (I own way too many brown toned nudes) but its one of those trust worthy lipsticks you can throw on whenever.
