Recently I was lucky enough to receive some products from the Pixi Glow Tonic collection. After years of wanting to try out the Glow Tonic, I’ve finally had the chance. I thought I’d do a little review on the collection, as its raved about throughout the blogging community and, well I’ve loved trying everything out!
I’ll start with the most famous product of the bunch. The Glow Tonic. This is a Glycolic Acid toner, which helps to exfoliate and purify the skin. I pop some of this on a small cotton round, and gently apply it all over my face. I find that it sometimes stings in areas where I have exposed skin (for example, dry areas or recently popped spots). It does contain acid after all. But, so far so good – I love the way it leaves my skin feeling.
glow tonic serum
This is now a firm favourite in my skincare collection. The Glow Tonic Serum. I’m a sucker for a good serum/facial oil and of course, this doesn’t disappoint. It has quite a thick consistency so you really don’t need much, literally a drop and a half to cover your face. It leaves my skin feeling smooth the next morning and a little bit more glowy too.
on the glow multi-use moisture stick
This is a product thats totally different to anything I’ve come across before. The Multi-use Moisture Stick, is a solid moisturiser essentially. I haven’t actually given this a go yet, but it can be used on the face, lips, body and hair so it really is multi-use. I can’t wait to try this out and see how it lives up to what it claims, I think its really cool that its so multi-purpose.
glow tonic cleansing gel
I haven’t given this ago yet but I’ve heard great things. The Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel, again, contains glycolic acid to help gently exfoliate the skin. And of course, it helps to brighten the skin as well. I definitely need all the brightening I can get, so I can’t wait to give this ago.
Last, but certainly not least, the pHenomenal Gel. This helps to balance and stabilise the skins pH. I can’t really find much more info on this, but it sounds really interesting. Its does say to use this after cleansing or toning, so its sort of an in between before serum and moisturiser. I’m excited to try it out and see if it makes a difference to my skin.
Have you tried anything from the Glow Collection?
